Prancing and Sucking

I quit my job, sold my home, and drove around the country in the summer and fall of 2006, training BJJ, finding myself, and landing in LA. I still travel a lot and get to train in amazing places. Some of my friends are irritated that I "prance" around the world and think I "suck" for doing so.

RIP Grandmaster Helio Gracie

Yesterday Helio Gracie, widely known as the father of Brazilian jiu jitsu, died. He was 95. I don't know many more details but will find some. I and all my friends who train owe him a debt of gratitude for an amazing martial art, lifestyle, and philosophy. Much sympathy to his family.
